Maintenance

Power flushing and descaling for improved heating efficiency prior to a replacement boiler installation. The pump is connected to the flow and return pipe work at the heating system's circulating pump.

Advantages of power flushing:

It complies with the Building Regulations requirements for flushing an existing heating system.

A power flushing machine has an increased flow rate which along with chemical cleansers, can loosen and remove debris in the radiators and pipe work.

This results in overall improved circulation, efficiency and reduction in wear and tear on components such as the circulating pump and zone valves.

Combination boiler breakdown:

Is the pressure gauge showing between 1 or 2 bar?

If it's on 0 the boiler will not fire up. Try to top up pressure and reset boiler.

Is the condense pipe frozen?

Is the gas turned on at the meter?

Make a note of the make and model of the boiler.

Is the boiler still under guarantee?
